Favorite Stops in Charleston, South Carolina!

March 29, 2018

Charleston is a photographers dream city to visit and photograph in. Every corner is beautiful and begs for it’s own little moment to shine. I’ve been luckily enough to travel to Charleston a several times of the past few years and I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite places to visit.

Sugar Bake Shop -> No trip to Charleston is complete without a visit (or two!) to this adorable shop! Cookies, cupcakes, and lots of other fun bakery items.

Hominy Grill -> It’s worth the wait, when we visited we even waited in the rain! I ordered the vegetable platter, and it was amazing. Hominy Grill is known for their southern food (which isn’t usually my personal favorite), but I could happily eat here every Charleston visit.

City Lights Café -> We loved visiting this café so much we went twice in one trip! It’s tiny, but wonderful! The shop owner Greg was incredibly friendly and personable.

In general, Charleston is a very walkable city – I think it’s fun to not have an agenda, but to explore the area! A few of my favorite places to walk to are Rainbow Row (East Bay Street), King Street, Church Street and The Battery.

What are your favorite Charleston stops? Leave a comment, I would love to know! xo
